Content Quality Notes for Authors
Posts with repeated or copy-pasted material may be automatically deleted per policy. Ensure your submission is original and not published elsewhere.
Including more than 3 external links in a single post (except legitimate references) is considered spammy and may result in flagging or removal.
Original blog posts, reviews, opinions, guides, and case studies
Educational, informative, or how-to articles
Personal stories (non-offensive)
Business, startup, marketing, finance, health, tech, travel, etc.
Product or service promotions with clear and appropriate disclosure

Duplicate or copy-pasted content from other websites
AI-generated or spun content without meaningful editing
Posts with fewer than 300 words (thin content)
Posts with more than 3 external links (except credible references)
Unnatural anchor text and backlink stuffing

Minimum Quality Requirements
✅ At least 400 words (code blocks and link lists don’t count toward the minimum)
✅ No more than 3 outbound links per post
✅ No repeated domains in links (avoid “link chains”)
✅ Title & meta description must accurately reflect the content
✅ Images must be copyright-free or owned by you
✅ Slug tip: Leave the slug blank—BlogOSM will auto-suggest the best SEO-friendly slug from your title. If you enter it manually, ensure it follows Google’s best practices (lowercase, hyphens, no special characters).
⚠️ Auto-Moderation & Flagging
All posts are automatically checked for quality. If your post is flagged as low quality, it will be automatically marked noindex to protect site-wide SEO.
Common reasons for flagging include:
Low word count
Spammy keywords or repeated/unnatural anchor text
Too many external links or repeated domains
Poor formatting or AI-only content with little human value
Write naturally for humans—don’t over-optimize for search engines
Use clear headings (H2/H3), short paragraphs, and bullet points
Avoid keyword stuffing; focus on clarity and usefulness
Provide real insights, data, and examples—not just promos
Proofread for grammar, tone, and accuracy before publishing
